Manage MRSS Feed

View MRSS Feeds

To view the current MRSS Feeds, please follow the steps:

Steps	Expected Outcome
1) Go to the "FAST Channel" -> "MRSS Url" on the menu	The MRSS Feed page will show up, showing list of your current MRSS Feeds
[Optional] 2) Click on > button on the right of each item to expand & view the content list inside the MRSS Feed	The content list inside MRSS Feed will show up

Create MRSS Feed

To create a new MRSS Feeds, please follow the steps:

Steps	Expected Outcome
1) In MRSS Feed page, click "+ Create" button	The Create MRSS Feed popup will show up
2) Fill in the information to create a new MRSS Feed: MRSS URL Type: The type of MRSS Feed, either Movie List (only contains a list of movies), or Show (only contains a list of shows) Name: Feed name Ads Break Interval: The ads break interval for each VOD in the feed.
3) Click "Save"	The new MRSS feed will be created & will show up in the MRSS Feed list

Add A Program To MRSS Feed

To add a program (Movie / Show) into MRSS Feed, please follow the steps:

Steps	Expected Outcome
1) Navigate to MRSS Feed
2) Click > on the right of MRSS Feed item that you want to update	The item will be expanded and current content items inside the MRSS Feed will show up
3) Click on the "Search (+)" icon button right below your feed item name (on the left of "Content" label	The search & add popup will show up.
4) Type your content name into the search box to search for your contents to add	The content matching your search text will show up. When searching: Only Movie program will show up if the MRSS feed item is Movie List type. (As only Movie can be added to Movie List MRSS Feed) Only Show program will show up in the search result if the MRSS Feed item is Show type. (As only Show can be added to Show MRSS Feed)
4) Select the content that you would like to add, then click "Add"	The contents will be added to the MRSS feed & the popup will be closed. You will see your newly-added content item in the MRSS feed right afterward.

Get MRSS Feed Urls For Ingestion

To get the Wurl / Amagi / Xumo / Zype MRSS Feed url for ingestion, please follow the steps:

Steps	Expected Outcome
1) In the MRSS Feed page, click "Edit" icon button on the MRSS Feed item you've just created to get the MRSS feed url	The Edit MRSS Feed popup will show up, and the MRSS Feed url will be available for you to copy to use for ingestion to other system, currently there are 4 supported MRSS Feed formats: Wurl MRSS url: For Wurl & Wurl-compatible MRSS ingestion Amagi MRSS url: For Amagi & Amagi-compatible MRSS ingestion Xumo MRSS url: For Xumo & Xumo-compatible MRSS ingestion. Zype MRSS url: For Zype & Zype-compatible MRSS ingestion.
