Introduction
Content Management is the central part in Vimai CMS for managing & publishing contents into OTT Platforms or to other system via MRSS ingestion.
Content Types
Contents on Vimai can be categorized into: VOD Contents & Live Contents.
VOD Contents includes:
Movie (Single)
A single program that only contains one main video content (single-episode).
A Movie program will include both:
Program Information & Metadata
Video Info (uploaded video url, transcode status, VOD stream url) of the movie
A Movie content might include additional children contents:
Trailers
Show (TV Series)
A TV Series program that might include many seasons, with each season including many episodes.
A Show program will include:

Children contents of a Show Program include:
Season List of that Show (TV Series)
Trailers
Episode
A content that represents the episode inside a TV series.
An episode content will include:
Episode Info (title, description)
Video Info (uploaded video url, transcode status, VOD stream url) of the episode.
Season
A content that represents the seasons in a TV series.
Season is a container for the list of episodes inside a season, so the season will only include:
Season Info (title, description)
Children contents of Season include:
Episode List of that season
Live Contents includes:
Live Channel
The Live Channel content represent the traditional live streaming channel.
The Live Channel include:
Live Channel info (channel title, description)
Live Stream Url
Live EPG
Curated Channel
Deprecated, will be replaced with FAST Channel
FAST Channel (/w SSAI) (Coming Soon)
A server-side live channel streaming based on the content schedule managed by content ops, with SSAI support.

Live Event
A Live Stream content that starts and ends at specific time (fixed start/end schedule)
